This group debuted as a trio, with Nishikawa Takahiro on keyboards. He quit the band in 2002. It's also worth mentioning that DCT is the first group in Japanese history to have sold more than 3 million copies, with their fifth album "The Swinging Star". Yoshida recorded a solo album in 1996, which was recorded with various American musicians. DCT has also tried to break into the U.S. market by releasing english language versions of a few of their albums.
