Shingo Mama originated on Fuji TV's "Sata Suma", or SMAP's Saturday morning TV show. As Shingo Mama, Katori Shingo would pick a family, show up early in the morning to wake everyone up with a joyful "OHA!"; then help get the kids off to school and the Father off to work, while making them breakfast and lunch out of the things they had in the fridge. During this time, Mom got to relax for a change!
