Though Miyano's musical career begin in 2007, he has been voice acting since 2002. His first role was that of Riku for the Japanese versions of the Kingdom Hearts series. Some of his other significant roles include Kiba in Wolf's Rain, Yagami Light in Death Note (possibly his most well known role), and Setsuna F Seiei in the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series. He has also acted in both the musical and film versions of Prince of Tennis.
