A kirin is a Japanese mythological creature. He's somewhat of a unicorn (except a little bit more beastly), in that it has a single horn. It is said to punish the wicked, and protect and bring good luck to the good. Seeing a Kirin is considered to be an omen of extremely great luck, but this can only happen to a very virtuous person.

To a place beyond the sparkling wind, where wishes always come true
We're hoping that tomorrow will be there
Toward the light
That song that I love comes from my big headphones
There is a world there, where timid me can hold my head up high
The sky and love songs will one day grow hazy in my memory
But there are still some beautiful things left in my heart
To a place beyond the sparkling wind, where wishes always come true
We're hoping that tomorrow will be there
Before the smiles are buried in the overflowing sadness
In lonely times, remember that I'm by your side
Toward the light
The future was gathered together at the see saw in the park
Just talking is never enough, we gazed at the morning glow together
There are days when the strong rain seems to be sticking to me, and crushing me
But I believe that when I'm hurt, I can be more gentle
There are as many meetings and partings as there are stars that I look up to
But no matter how small we are, we should still be able to shine
Just what color will the world be that we end up in?
I'd like to try finding the dazzling color that belongs only to me, one day
Just time to go
I'm gazing way over there, on tip toes
At the vast and blue ocean
Your precious eyes
Are the things that support me, who is so cowardly
To a place beyond the sparkling wind, where wishes always come true
We're hoping that tomorrow will be there
Before the smiles are buried in the overflowing sadness
In lonely times, remember that I'm by your side
It seems as though we're advancing toward the light, now
