| "manpii" is a euphemism of "manko", which refers to the female sex organ in a rather ruff way. This euphemism attempts to soften the roughness of it, and make it sound a bit more "cute". However, there is no good English equivalent that I'm aware of, so I left it translated in a bit more traditional way. Meke-Meke refers to a great spirit that is often seen in connect with the female vulva. Akutagawa Ryuunosuke was a Japanese writer during the Taishou period (July 30 1912 to December 25 1926) who is regarded as the father of the Japanese short story. His stories often explored the darker side of human nature. His more well known stories include "Rashoumon" and "hana". Also "Sly" refers to Sly and the Family Stones, an American funk/soul/rock band from the 60's. I would also like to mention that "beppin" is not a proper way to refer to a female as attractive. In fact, it's quite a vulgar way to do so. |
