Enough snow had come this year to cover the 100cm tall fur trees
He had come to our house, for just Mama and I
I wipe the accumulated powdered snow off of my shoulder, and then
The palm of my hand,that didn't know a handshake, was warmed
Lighting a candle and carrying out the food
Mama is more pretty than usual, it's like I opened up a picture book

The Santa Clause that hangs on wall, I made in school, and it has Mama's face
My friends laughed at me and said the facial hair looked weird, but it can't be helped
He praised my picture, and then gave me a hug
He lowered his neck, and when he took out a key, I went swaying back into bed
Wearing my pajamas, and making sure I had my socks on
His kiss was so gentle, it made me remember Papa

Light reflects off of the snow around the window, and somewhere far away, I can hear the sound of bells
When the day had come to a close, I found something strange
I dropped a spoon, and hiding beneath the table
