Shoujotai is an all girl idol group that debuted in 1984, and broke up in 1989.

Miho, Reiko, and Chiiko (Ichikawa Mieko) were the original lineup for Shoujotai, coming out of the auditions. This is also the lineup that they debuted with. In August of 1984, Chiiko left the group because of a hernia. She was replaced by Tomo.

Shoujotai are known for being one of the first idol groups to having eurobeat incorporated into their music. It was high successful at the time.
