Kawada is a singer currently signed on the Geneon label, meaning that many of her singles have tie-ins as anime theme songs. She is also a member of the "I've Sound" group, with other famed performers of anime and game theme songs, such as Kotoko. In fact, Kawada has been paired with Kotoko on many anime soundtracks. In addition to releasing her own solo music, she has also done collaborations with Kotoko, has been featured in a one-time I've special unit, and has been in the group Healing Leaf with fellow I've member Shimamiya Eiko.
