Post TMG on Youtube
I was cruising Youtube, and I found the music video for TMG's "Oh Japan". Knowing Eric Martin, he probably put it up himself. That man seriously has nothing to do but answer emails and play on his computer. But that's really cool that they have a music video out. I'm going to be dillusional and hope they put out another album, although I'm pretty sure that their first was their last, just a little side project to play around with. Eric really needs to collaborate with the Japanese more, the outcome is harder and edgier than a lot of the stuff he does by himself. I was actually surprised of the amount of J-Rock stuff on Youtube. It's cool to like J-rock now, the infectious disease is spreading beyond the borders of nerdy Anime fans. It's creeping down the street, from the sewers, into your living room!

P.S I'm back

Indeed it is cool to like Japanese music now, it really is amazing. You can find a video (though not always translated and subtitled, so be sure to download our releases! OK, shameless plug over...) for just about any Japanese song, within reason of course. When did it happen? Who knows...it's almost like it happened over night. But then again, youtube does bring us some wonderful benefits. An example of one such benefit can be taken from a comment that actually appeared on youtube for our release of Amuro Namie's "Want Me, Want Me". It was something like:

"I don't like this song, it sounds like India."

No, I'm not kidding.

Anyway, yeah, TMG. I'm willing to bet that you're right, their first album probably was their last. I mean Tak can only put so much time into solo/side projects, being that his biggest ticket will always be B'z. And Eric Martin has...well...he does have a solo career. But I have a feeling he probably turned more profits from TMG then he did from his own solo career. Then again, he probably still sees a pretty good amount from Mr. Big royalties, at least in Japan!
