 Any Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii Players out there?
If so, let's play sometime! I know I'm really into these two games right now, and would love to add whoever I can to my friends list. Here are my numbers:
Smash Brothers Brawl: 4468-1219-3584
Mario Kart Wii - 0774-4801-0997
Also, for anyone who's played these games, what do you think of them? Particularly when compared to their Gamecube predecessors?

I miss being able to chuck items Mario Kart is less fun for me, why not keep the double dash mode for versus or something??

I thought you could still chuck items... Unless you just mean riding in the back and smacking any cart drivers foolish enough to come within arm's reach. I miss that too...

Yeah that's pretty much what I meant. I was really good at doing the power slides into other characters and chucking green shells right at the right time. Now I actually have to DRIVE in Mario Kart. Humph.

Maybe they'll make the next Mario Kart all throwing items, and the computer players will just do all of the driving!

 Re: Any Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii Players out there?
I never got the game. Played my roommate's and it seemed fun, but the control was kind ehh and on the harder levels winning was almost entirely random. Many's the time I've seen my roommate play a great race on 150cc only to get hit by a blue shell on the last stretch of the last lap, and come in 8th as a result. It happens so often that it basically stops rewarding skill and is just random. While this is fine for something like Mario Party, it sucks for committed players.

 Re: Any Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii Players out there?
Yeah, it does get pretty frustrating but there still is a very high level of skill required to excel at the game. Plus they've added a lot in the Wii version like to unlock all the characters you also have to complete the time trials, etc. So it's not all about item luck. Though online is a different story Though it's not just 150cc that has those problems, I got 3 blue shells in a row this morning on 50cc! That was unfair

 Re: Any Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii Players out there?
I will make time to play Smash with you this weekend Aki! I'll make sure that my MSN is on so we can work something out. I've been playing Smash more recently, but haven't tried it online. I haven't even checked to see if it finally registered you on my friends list (if you ever added me, that is). We'll play for sure! I don't know how great my skills are anyway, so maybe we'll be pretty evenly matched. I'm a much better Mario Kart player than I am Smash Bros.

 Re: Any Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii Players out there?
I definitely will be, don't worry! I'll probably turn on my MSN after work tomorrow, and leave it on all weekend. We're bound to run into one another at some point during that time! My main character is still Captain Falcon, but I'm considering picking up another one as well. The reason is that Captain Falcon only had things taken away from him going from Melee to Brawl, and really had nothing added at all. In some ways it's very challenging for him to beat certain characters, where as in Melee he used to be able to destroy almost anyone as long as you knew how to use him right! Pit is your main character now I assume? He's a good character, especially in the air (duh). I can't use him for crap, but I know he's a good character

Hahaha yes, I had to leave Sheik a little and get Pit, I love him! And well, I dunno if he's good or bad, but he's cute haha and he has the kind of attacks I like xD however, his final smash isn't so final after all ;___;
